ZINFO Privacy Policy

This Policy explains the main categories of personal data ZINFO processes, why it is used, the choices available to you, and your legal rights.

Effective:

Last updated:

This Policy is a public privacy notice. Optional device permissions and consent-based features are requested separately. You can refuse or withdraw an optional permission, although the related feature may then be limited.

1. Scope and controller

This Policy applies to the ZINFO mobile application, website, customer support, notifications, widgets, and related customer-facing services that link to it.

ZINFO is operated by Levan Parastashvili in Georgia. ZINFO is the controller for personal data it determines how and why to process. Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected].

External services you choose to use may process data under their own privacy notices when they act independently.

2. Data categories

  • Account data: Contact details, profile information, verification information, account status, and preferences you provide or save.
  • Contacts and directory data: Contact or phone-directory information you choose to submit, sync, correct, or report when an optional contacts or caller feature is used.
  • Search and feature data: Phone numbers, vehicles, fines, VINs, shipment references, locations, currencies, fuel selections, and other inputs needed for a feature you request.
  • Location data: Approximate or precise location when you grant permission for location-based weather or another supported feature.
  • Payment data: Plan, subscription, transaction, status, and billing references. Full payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment service.
  • Device and usage data: Device, app, network, security, diagnostic, and interaction information reasonably needed to operate, protect, and improve the Services.
  • Communications: Support messages, feedback, reports, and content you choose to submit.

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or third-party information that is unnecessary for the feature or that you are not authorised to provide.

3. Sources of data

Data may come from you, your device with permission, other users who submit directory information, public or official sources, and services involved in a transaction or requested feature.

If information about you appears in a phone or company result, you may contact ZINFO to ask about its source or request a legally available correction, restriction, or removal.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide the Services: Create and secure accounts, answer requested searches, provide enabled features, process transactions, save selected settings, and offer support.
  • Consent: Use optional permissions or conduct another activity for which the law requires your affirmative choice. Consent may be withdrawn.
  • Legitimate interests: Protect users and systems, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain reliability, understand service performance, improve data quality, and defend legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligations: Keep required business records, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, and comply with applicable law.

5. Feature-specific notices

  • Caller and directory tools: Results can contain information supplied by users, public sources, businesses, or other lawful sources. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect and should not be treated as proof of identity.
  • Vehicles and information tools: Inputs are used to return the requested vehicle, fine, VIN, customs, tracking, fuel, currency, weather, map, or speed-test information. Official sources determine final legal, financial, or administrative outcomes.
  • Location: Location is used only for an enabled location-based feature. You can deny or revoke the device permission and use manual selection where available.
  • AI-assisted features: If an AI-assisted feature is offered, submitted prompts and the minimum context needed to answer may be processed for that request. AI output can be inaccurate and must not be relied on for high-impact decisions.

6. Sharing

ZINFO may share the minimum data reasonably needed with service providers that support hosting, security, authentication, payments, communications, maps, weather, data retrieval, analytics, and customer support.

Data may also be disclosed to an authority or another person when required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or connected with a lawful business transfer.

Limited directory or caller results may be displayed to other users as part of the requested feature.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside Georgia. International transfers are handled subject to the requirements of applicable data-protection law.

8. Retention

Retention periods depend on the data category, the requested feature, account or transaction needs, and applicable legal obligations.

Data is handled in accordance with applicable retention, restriction, and erasure requirements.

9. Choices and privacy rights

You can manage supported preferences and device permissions in the app or device settings. Disabling a permission may stop the related feature.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, updating, restriction, blocking, portability, withdrawal of consent, termination of processing, erasure, or destruction of personal data. You may also object or complain to the competent authority or court.

ZINFO may request reasonable verification and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits or requires it. Requests under Georgian law are generally answered within the legally required period.

10. Security

ZINFO applies the security obligations required by applicable law. No internet, device, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Protect your device, credentials, and verification codes. Contact ZINFO promptly if you suspect unauthorised account use.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to a child who cannot lawfully consent or enter the relevant agreement. A parent or legal representative must act where applicable law requires it.

12. Changes

ZINFO may update this Policy when the Services or law changes. Material changes will be communicated by a reasonable method where required. The date above identifies the current version.

The Georgian and English versions are intended to match. For users in Georgia, the Georgian version governs an inconsistency, subject to mandatory law.

13. Contact and complaints

Send privacy questions or requests to [email protected]. Describe what you need and provide only the information reasonably required to identify the relevant account, number, or record. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or full payment-card details.
